A very rare example of Stuart McCormick`s work.He was born in Glengarry, Ontario in 1905. He worked as an artist/illustrator. This small oil painting measures 7.5 x 5.5 inches. It features his home town, Glengarry and is dated to the reverse 1956. Superb colours and scene painted during the winter. He was associated with the famous group of seven, Lawren Harris etc. and the method and style is consistent with the movement.He died in 1992.
