Pendant street lantern from the 1950s, purchased in 1976 from the depot of the city of Schiedam (the Netherlands).
Back then, these lanterns hung from steel wires, centrally above the road.
Copper cone with a round plate below it, a white enamelled reflector on the inside.
Milk glass coloured plastic cover is also still present.
The lamp shade has been slightly damaged, showing small cracks, caused by being hit by hail; therefore a used object, which used to dangle above a street in Schiedam.
