Late 17th century antique William and Mary oyster veneered laburnum cushion framed mirror with later bevelled plate


A superb example which is now over 320 years old. Dating to the English reign of William and Mary circa 1690. The wood is probably laburnum which has been cut into thin veneers then laid onto a frame. This is called an Oyster veneer.
In excellent antique condition.
