An original of a Thomas Jeckyll fireplace insert. He was synonymous with the aesthetic movement of the mid 1870's. They were influenced by the Japanese way of producing art. Japan were ending their self-imposed exile from all foreign influences about that time. It features floral geometric patterns in reeded panels.
