Vintage traditional Swedish woven embroidery textile of Horse, flowers and shapes
This typical example comes from the Scania, in the south of Sweden. It features the Dalahast or Darla horse. This piece was a sampler or unfinished to make a pillow cover.
It is a fine example of the traditional method.
It measures 68 x 48 cm.
