Rare Ric et Rac art deco brass and leather badge Pol Rab

Charming French cartoon characters called Ric et Rac dating to the late 1920’s.
They featured in a cartoon strip by Pol Rab in the paper called’Le Rire’. In their day they were as popular as Mickey Mouse. They endorsed everything from boot polish to vacuum cleaners. This badge is approx 3cm square and has a metal bracket to reverse.
