An accomplished portraitist, Howard J. Morgan's commissions have included HM Queen Elizabeth, HRH the Duke of Kent, and Dame Antoinette Sibley. Equally, he is known for his 'conversation pieces': sensual, narratively ambiguous studies of the human condition, which often employ odd angles, reflective surfaces and unconventional formats in a manner that clearly draws on the genius of Manet and Toulouse Lautrec.
Sadly the artist passed away this year.
