Philip Jones was an English artist born in 1933, educated at Malvern college and in 1953 was admitted to London’s Slade school of fine art. Lucien Freud purchased one of his early works from that period.
Exhibiting from 1953 at the Leicester galleries, AIA gallery, Mansard gallery, Heals and the Whitechapel gallery in 1968.
His work is held in many private and public collections in Europe and the U.K.
Height is 21 inches by 29 inches
In glazed mounted wooden frame.
